Luca Benassi
Luca Benassi graduated in 2021 with a degree in Architecture, Built Environment, and Interiors from the Polytechnic University of Milan with a thesis entitled "Re-coding Urban Living – New Spaces and Ways of Living," a project that explores the themes of urban regeneration and living in the contemporary city.
Since 2022 he has been a member of the Order of Architects of Monza and Brianza.
After training experiences at Milanese studios such as Simple Flair and StudioModulo (2018), and subsequently Camera&Partners (2020–2022), he developed skills in interior architecture, installations and architectural and urban planning.
In 2022, he began his freelance career and founded Studio Materica with architect Sallemi, focusing on private residential projects, interior design, and offices. Since 2023, he has collaborated with Area49, winning first prize in the competition for the redevelopment of the ProfAgri Institute in Salerno. He then joined the group permanently in 2024, working at their Milan office at Via Bistolfi 49.
